Welcome Jonathan Gallego!

From Jonathan: “My name is Jonathan Gallego — I’m from Mexico City, Mexico and I’m a first year PhD student from the Integrated Program in Neuroscience at McGill University. I did my Bachelors in Psychology and my Masters in Neurobiology, at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

My profesional interest focus on using multiple neuroimaging techniques to study normal and pathologic human brain function. During the previous years I learned to work with EEG and fMRI (and simultaneous EEG-fMRI) and now my research project is centered on studying the electrophysiological correlates (measured by MEG) of the accumulation of pathological markers (measured by PET) aiming to identify patients at risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. This project results from a collaboration held between the Baillet and Villeneuve labs.”
